I saw a photo once that was photoshopped. This guy took four pictures of himself in the same room each time only in different positions. Then he combined every picture so that all four pictures of himself were on one picture so that it looked like there were four of him standing around. Does anybody know how to do that?

Yes.

Take four pictures of yourself in the same room.
I am presuming you have a copy of Photoshop, or some other software that will allow you to digitally manipulate the photo.
Open the photos.
You need to lift your image out of three of the photos. I like to use the ERASE BACKGROUND eraser or, more frequently, just use the magnetic lasso.
Once you have yourself lasso-ed, copy and paste into the master photo.
You may still need to clean up the image using the eraser tool.
And you may need to adjust for lighting (IMAGE/adjustments/brightness and contrast may work fine for you).
Repeat with other images.
Be sure to save your master file frequently.

Good luck!

After you've taken all of the pictures, you need to select only what you want, this is a critical part of photoshop that seperates novices from professionals, use the MAGNETIC LASSO tool to isolate the person, after that, drag the image to a background of your choice.
TIPS:
Take the pictures behind a SOLID COLOR background, that way it'll be easier to select and manipulate what you want from the image.

Take a separate picture of the background and then drag the person or whatever you want onto it.

Photoshop is a software application that enables you to manipulate pictures like that. You need photoshop or similar software application, then you can do it too.

Photoshop is VERY expensive, you can get a lighter version of photoshop called photoshop elements.

Photoshop is an Adobe product, www.adobe.com.

it's pretty easy. once you've taken the pictures open them all in photoshop and cut and paste each figure into one image. just select the person, make a layer via cut then drag that layer into one of the other images. repeat until all figures are on one image.

Yes, I know how to do that and Photoshop is a great program. The trick is combining the images seamlessly which you could do with the help of photoshop tutorials. http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/designcenter/search.cfm?product=Photoshop&go=Go

yes...use a tripod and a camera with a timer. Take the different shots. Then you align the shots as different layers in one PSD file. Either cut out or use masking so each image of you appears.
