When i went we stayed in one of the cabins @ americanpatriotgetaways.com and we loved it. I cant answer anything about Dollywood, but the town is awesome. If you attend some shows it may cost you a little more. I would recommend 300 dollars if you hang out for a couple of days or a weekend. You can eat good, play some games and see some of the sites. Good luck and have fun.

Pigeon Forge is one of those really cheesy places, with lots of crappy little souvineer stores, junk food stands, and dumb tourist activities like a Ripleys, go carts, mini golf, and bumper boats. Everywhere. Absolutely everywhere. These items all take a decent bit of cash. So it all depends on how much of that kind of junk you want to do, versus time spent hiking in the mountains or something like that. I will say, I do recommend the Sweet Fanny Adams show, its funny and is generally money well spent.

You can easily spend $100.00 per person per day.
$200.00 may be enough per person, per day.

Lots of junk there on which to spend money in addition to lodging.
