I work in a doctors office and I have alot of old films...I need more room for the new one when can I put them in storage and how do I determine which ones? Please Help!!!

Seven years is when they can be disposed of. We move charts of patients that have not been seen in the last 5 years into an accessible storage area.

If you are going to put them in storage, I would say anything over 1 year old. Make sure you file them into some sort of database, that way if you need to look at the film of somebody from 2 years ago, you will know where it is and can be found.
