Good witches are very beautiful, dress in gorgeous gowns and wear crowns, they have long, flowing hair, and they ride around in pink bubbles.
Bad witches are old and ugly, with green skin and long pointed noses. They dress in black, with tall pointed hats on their grizzled hair, and they ride around on broomsticks. Oh, and they like flying monkeys, but they absolutely despise cute li'l doggies. They can be killed by dropping a house on top of them, or by throwing water on them and melting them.
I learned all of this at a very young age, from the movie "The Wizard of Oz".

Moondown, there are some VERY accepting Christians out there and they DO make the effort to learn about us and from that learning come to realize that we AREN'T the evil, "Satan possessed" beings that we have been accused of being.

There are others who have never had the opportunity to meet and talk with a Witch. MOST of those would tend to follow the same trend as the above Christians.

Then there are the BLIND Christians who insist on leading everyone else right over the precipice. They consider it sinful to even TALK to us. They consider it a sin merely to be tempted. to do anything that their Clergy says is wrong. They are unable to actually THINK for themselves and are totally reliant on others that they see as in authority, to do their thinking FOR them. They depend on their Bibles as their ONLY source of information and study it day and night. They may eve KNOW it by rote from cover to cover. Yet if they're asked what anyh ONE part means to THEM, personally, they have to flip through it to find OUT what it means to them. They're stuck in an endless feedback loop of quoting the bible and referring to it to figure out what it's actually saying. Those folks have NO intention of EVER following their OWN hearts when it comes to relating to other humans. When it comes to THEM, you're just barking at the moon.

Brightest Blessings,

I certainly do not need to meet witches to determine the validity of my belief. I know God and Satan exist. I serve God, you serve Satan. You may say you worship forces or Mother Earth, but it's all the same. You worship Satan. If you choose not God, you've chosen Satan.

God knows who and what you are. He is merciful, but He lets us know that witchcraft is an abomination to Him. That's all I need to know. Try reading the following verses in the Bible to get a clear picture of what God thinks of witchcraft.

Exodus 22:18
Leviticus 19:31
Deuteronomy 18:10-12
II Chronicles 33:6
II Kings 9:22
Isaiah 8:9
Micah 5:12
Galatians 5:20

And then read John 3:16-21.

Hopefully, somewhere along in life, you will come to know the living God while you are still alive on earth. Otherwise, you will just be living in rebellion and will have to face the consequences of that. I don't want that on you. God is calling. Please answer and accept Him. You truly need to draw close to God to see the DANGER and ultimate FUTILITY of your belief system.

I am a Christian, and have plenty of non-Christian friends, including quite a few Pagans. I would consider a witch to be someone who self-identifies as practicing "the craft", also referred to as "witchcraft" in some circles, or in some other way chooses to personally identify themself as a witch. Many of the people I know who cast certain types of spells do self-identify as witches. I've known Pagans since my early youth, and many of the Wiccans, with a few exceptions, referred to themselves as witches. It's not a label I thrust upon them, but one they adopted for themselves. So if someone tells me that they're a witch, I often presume that they're Wiccan, although that may be stereotyping on my part, and forgive me if it is.

Haha...i just got finished watching the Tyra Show where she had witches on there.

Then there was a witch who converted to being a Christian...yay! There is hope!

I read Harry Potter...that is the closest I have ever gotten to witches and such.

A witch is someone who is possessed with an evil spirit.
I learned this mostly from the New Testament
About age 19
No I haven't sought out any witches, because I don't mind meeting or discussing religion with people I think are wrong, like Muslims or Atheists, but if someone is actually possessed with an evil spirit in some degree I don't really want to fool around with that. Its like ghosts, I have no doubt there MAY be something to it, but I don't want to investigate it because I think it is dangerous. I don't feel like an Atheist or Muslim or Taoist poses any threat to my faith, but any kind of witch or demon or anything like that, I would rather not get close.

Still I think many people who classify themselves as Wiccans or witches and such are not necessarily demon-possessed.... I just would rather stay away from it.

Want irony? They know more witches then they think they do. It's one the fastest growing religions in the world. Just because we don't advertise it doesn't mean we aren't out there. It's not like we wear pointy hats or a badge.
