As you can see from the answers my brothers and sisters gave you, we certainly do not remain silent as to our obedience to Jehovah's laws on blood, which like our God, we view as sacred.
We are the only faith that is definitely known for sharing the Bible with all people worldwide. Jehovah's people have never been silent and we will continue to preach the good news of His Kingdom until it is no longer required, right up until Armageddon begins.
Bloodless surgery is now being performed with great results and soon blood transfusions will be a thing of the past.
Acts 15:20, Acts 15:28-29, Acts 21:25
Jehovah tells us to abstain from blood. What is the meaning of the word abstain? It is this:
"to refrain deliberately and often with an effort of self-denial from an action or practice" (Websters Dictionary)

Why in the world would you think we are "scared" to answer? Jehovah's Witnesses have written extensively on why we refuse blood. We have gifted the medical profession with a whole new category: bloodless medicine.

Dr. Angel Herrera, a surgeon in chief at the National Institute of Oncology has said, "The Witnesses...have made an important contribution to medical science by making the medical profession consider the need to save lives." (Awake! magazine, September 2007, page 30)

Bloodless medicine has saved lives, and many physicians are now realizing that blood transfusion is not absolutely necessary in many cases. Many pathogens and diseases are still transmitted via blood, despite safeguards.

Jehovah's Witnesses refuse blood transfusions because the Old AND the New Testament condemn such a use of blood.

If you really want an answer to your question, ask any live, in-person Witness for copies of our publications and videos on blood transfusion and bloodless medicine.

We are never silent, haven't any ever come to your door? I did answer your question. If you don't accept the answer that's not me not answering it. If you only want to hear what you want to hear that's not my problem.

So others that didn't see your same question, I'll be happy to say it again. The Bible says that our life force is in our blood. We are not to take blood into our bodies. As we already do have our own blood this means someone else's blood. So, if we don't take it into our own bodies why would be go against God and give it?

I've had this come up when I had a very bad accident in 2002. I didn't take blood but they used blood expander's(most people don't know about them, they are much safer to use than blood). It's called saline. After I got out of ICU many nurses came into my room to tell me how happy they were that I didn't take blood as the supply isn't as safe as the medical community let's us think.

I can handle it.

10 “‘As for any man of the house of Israel or some alien resident who is residing as an alien in YOUR midst who eats any sort of blood, I shall certainly set my face against the soul that is eating the blood, and I shall indeed cut him off from among his people. 11 For the soul of the flesh is in the blood, and I myself have put it upon the altar for YOU to make atonement for YOUR souls, because it is the blood that makes atonement by the soul [in it]. 12 That is why I have said to the sons of Israel: “No soul of YOU must eat blood and no alien resident who is residing as an alien in YOUR midst should eat blood.”

You must not eat the blood; pour it out on the ground like water. Do not eat it, so that it may go well with you and your children after you, because you will be doing what is right."—Deuteronomy 12:23-25,

Acts 21:25 As for the believers from among the nations, we have sent out, rendering our decision that they should keep themselves from what is sacrificed to idols as well as from blood and what is strangled and from fornication.”

Ok, so NO, we don't EAT blood... but NO, we also don't take it into our body IN ANY FORM. If someone was an alcoholic & was told to not drink anymore, would it be all-right to inject the alcohol into his veins? NO.
Blood is sacred. It is the life of the person. Weaccept many, many alternatives & if ones would realize this, they would not be so quick to judge. We have lead the way in alternative transfusion medicine. http://www.watchtower.org/library/hb/article_03.htm
See video here: http://www.watchtower.org/e/vcnb/article_01.htm

We do not let our children die... we don't want to die ourselves.
There are Doctors who REFUSE to use the alternatives, because they did not get the education on these alternatives. It is almost always older docs that do this. They are old school & not open to the safer, cheaper alternatives.

Bloodless medicine is the new HIGH standard of care.
It is actually the preferred method for safety.

This is because God has commanded his followers to abstain from blood at Acts 15: 20 & 29. This has been God's stance on blood from the beginning when he told Noah to not eat the blood of animals. This was very serious at Gen. 9:5 God even said he would ask back their soul for eating the blood of animal, let alone the blood of another human.
Also see Lev. 17: 11

Blood is very sacred to God. It is our life force. It is the pouring out of Jesus blood that we have forgiveness of sins.
See Eph 1: 7

This is the reason we do not accept blood transfusions. There are many alternatives to blood transfusions that can be administered to build up the blood. Thousands of Witnesses have bloodless surgeries and survive. Many are told they will die without blood and they do not. In most cases, if someone dies, they would have died anyway. People die every day who are not Jehovah's Witnesses, who have had a blood transfusions.

There is no difference in taking blood in the veins than taking it through the mouth. If someone can't feed themselves, they are fed through their veins. It is still going into the body, and does not obey the law to "abstain from blood."

Our goal is to obey God's law. We protect our relationship with God and we are not subjected to diseases caused by blood. As Acts 15: 29 states: "If you keep yourselves from these things, you will prosper. Good health to you!"

We feel as our creator, God knows what's best for us.

Incidentally, patience is a virtue. The questioner posted this "question" only an hour after that previous question:

Many or most Jehovah's Witnesses would choose not to donate blood since they have little or no control over the godly or ungodly purposes toward which the blood might be used. However, as a religion, Jehovah's Witnesses do not entirely disallow all blood donations.

In harmony with the bible (especially Acts 15:20,28,29), Jehovah's Witnesses reject transfusions of whole blood and the four primary components which approximate "blood". However, an individual Witness is likely to accept a targeted treatment for a targeted need. The religion tolerates the use of minor blood fractions derived from plasma, platelets, and/or red/white blood cells, and presumably these would come from blood donations.

The following is quoted merely to demonstrate the actual position of Jehovah's Witnesses:
"Our Kingdom Ministry" of November, 2006 (pages 3,4)
[quote, but caps added]
Of course, many fractions are derived from blood that has been donated for medical purposes. Each Christian should make a conscientious decision as to whether he or she will accept or will reject the medical use of these substances. ...Although [Jehovah's Witness] Christians do not donate or store their own blood FOR TRANSFUSION PURPOSES, some procedures or tests involving an individual’s blood are not so clearly in conflict with Bible principles. Therefore, EACH INDIVIDUAL SHOULD MAKE A CONSCIENTIOUS DECISION... Your decisions should be your own and should not be based on someone else’s conscience. Likewise, no one should criticize another Christian’s decisions. In these matters, “each one will carry his own load” of responsibility.—Gal. 6:4,5.

Since you have no need/ want of Scripture.
My beliefs... o.k., fine.
When I / you take the time to learn God's words, thoughts, principles on a matter; & then adjust ur own way of thinking to do as He says w/ His princples / commandments;
You are then Doing the Will of God.
For some ppl upholding--adhering to God's word /
remaining loyal to His Word /
DOING what he says is More Important
then what man says to do.

I have done Alot of research on this matter,
bc when my 1st grd-child was on the way,
my dghtr's Dr. informed us that she (& her sis)
has a rare blood type.
Only 5% of the World population has this blood type.
If blood were to b given it WOULD Kill Her.
Not might /could/ or possibly...No; WOULD Kill Her.
(I learned about this on-line).
The donor red blood cells would start attacking & killing
her own red blood cells.
Neither One Can Even Contemplate TAKING blood.
AND NO Dr. WOULD EVEN THINK OF GIVING THEM blood.

Blood is Not a cure all.
It can be dangerous, (transfusion reaction)
it can Kill YOU, it can make you severly ill.
In the case of severe blood loss,
the Most Important issue is that of VOLUME.
Expand the Volume!!!!
Safer Methods Are Available,
You Don't Have To Receive Blood.
No Dr., on the Planet Will Guarantee-
taking blood Will Definately,
W/out a Doubt spare your life!!!
And, you Still face Death Anyways!
Another Day, although you may have
violated God's Command.

Both my hsbnd's mom & mine got cancer,
his mom's choice-receive treatment, w/ blood;
she died less then 7 mos., later.
My mom choose otherwise-holistic
& she's still alive 6 years later.
Neither 1 is a Witness of Jehovah.

Meditate on this one.....
the blood in our bodies is Always moving--we are alive...?...
Stored blood is NOT, moving!
It is dead blood!!
YOU want dead blood put in YOUR own self?!?!?
Or how about.....
When a man (mankind) dies in service for his country,
he is considered a hero, yes?
Or dies saving his friends, he is also considered a hero, yes?
(my bro., did this in May).
How much more is the value of standing-fast to keeping God's Word,
and if you do fall asleep in death, in doing so,
you are still a hero? yes!
For sticking to ur guns (so 2 speak) in whatever manner.

Because they mis-translate a scripture that says not to eat the blood of animals sacrificed to false idols/gods.

Transfusions violate sacredness of blood. We are specifically told in Acts 15: 28,29 to abstain from it.
