That's an awful thing to say, and quite poorly put. They are Native Americans, not Indians and I would say that the US is at fault for a lot of problems they've caused them and I also know that at some point you have to pick yourself up off your behind keep chugging along. Not all Native Americans do this and some are quite successful or even just regular middle class citizens like a lot of the US.
Don't perpetuate racism in this world, you're only bringing us down. Seems ppl forget that having some sort of generalized opinion (being racist) of Native Americans is racism just as much as it would be against any other race.

Many answers here show how ignorant and stupid americans are really! They think there is nothing else apart from America! God forbid they call the native americans, native americans but they wont stop from bashing and branding you as racist for just that. Anyways, for all the Ignorant americans, this is an Indian guy From India asking his countrymen about a problem at home!

ARe there places where Indians can dispose of their trash? It is the states' responsibility to provide a place where ppl can dispose of waste. They know it's dirty and unwanted, hence, waSte, and they don't want it in their house...so they dispose of it out doors...hence the neighborhood is dirty. Do they like it? No. But where are they supposed to dispose of the waste? Without a proper place to put waste, people will put it where ever they find it convenient...so u can't just blame the people for this problem. The state is employed by the people to take care of their issues, which include waste management, and if no one is there to manage the waste, then it goes where ever the ppl find room to put it.

When the gouverment will make a national plan of cleaning like in europe countryies!
When indian identity will be no more stould by the materialist modernity!

We have to take the initiative. Not depending on the system to do something for us. Yes, you have to be honest to us and be comitted. It will take time, but definately situation will improve.
Not blaming to corruption. It exists everywhere, even in so called greatest country of world!!! Yes, the degree of exposure differs.

I know exactly what you mean. I am Native American and am ashamed to admit the my tribal lands are an eyesore. To make it worse, our council members recently spent $50,000 on rings for themselves!
