about windows movie maker, every time Im trying to capture a video I can't cuz I dont have the video device???

the message appeared tells me that my video device is neede to be turned on..I just don't know what to do

its telling you you need to have a camera hooked up to the computer so that it can copy the "movie" you shot onto the computer.
