Your thoughts on this study...shows that 48% of the Liberals had college degrees...while only 25% of the conservatives had college degrees. Likewise income levels of the liberals was considerably higher.

Many studies have been done on this, including a major survey conducted a few years ago by Detroit's largest newspaper.
It's clear as crystal -- the more educated a person becomes (and, usually, the more intelligent he is), the more he sees what total BULLCRAP the hate-agendas of the loathsome "Religious" Radical Right are -- and the less he wants *anything* to do with them. Very logically and sensibly.
The RRR and its agendas are for those who are hateful and IGNORANT enough to be bigots. And NO FACTS support those agendas.

That is a bogus finding. Because most liberals can not think they might have a degree but they don't know how to use logic. Plus they don't like listening to a different point of view. Look at the gun control laws. Where the strictest gun control laws are the more violent crimes and where there are lacks gun control laws the the lower the crime rate.

The question is tricky. Most recent graduates from college are likely to be liberal, because the education they receive is from liberal professors. Liberal ideas are very nice, when discussed and debated in a classroom. Once the student leaves college and lives, I think they get a new education called the "school of life". In the school of life, they begin to wonder why so much of their paycheck is taken from them before they even see their money. When they get robbed or assaulted, they view the perpetrator as a perpetrator, not as an underprivileged individual that needs more education and government programs. When they send their own kids to college, they wonder why their kids can't get grants, but illegal aliens can. By the time the college educated person reaches their 40's, they have likely made the transition from educated liberal to educated conservative :)

I guess that makes sense when you consider that most college professors are liberal, and they teach their students their own political values.
I got my degree, and I was a pretty liberal kid in college (just following what my professors taught me), and it took some time of serious questioning of those professors before I really became more conservative. I don't know how many people are really willing to go through that same questioning process that I did.
Anyway, I don't blame the professors for being liberal - after all, it is mostly liberal policies that gives them their paychecks.

Since this is under r and s, I assume you mean religiously, not politically..
Without even looking at your reference, it is quite well known that as one continues with one's education, science is the reliable subject, not religion... Conservative Christians, and fundamentalists, evangelicals, Pentecostals, are usually far lower in income and education..Read such books as The God Delusion, Why Darwin Matters, The Ancestors Tale, Cosmos, God is not Great, and any number of true scholarly works for even more data... The most common religion in prisons is fundamental Christianity

Interesting survey. I would not have realized that so many people don't fit into conservative and liberal categories.

Depends on the subject. I am on conservative on some issues and left wing liberal on others. we all don't fit into a neat little box you know.

First the statistics are not true. Most poor black people are liberals while most rich business owners are conservatives.
Liberals are poeple who like to do what makes them feel good weather it is right or wrong. Conservatives try to actually solve the problem even if it causes some pain.
Liberals want to enslave the rich to support the poor. Conservatives want to enslave the poor to get rich.
