Braces websites?

Question

I'm scarred abpout getting my braces do you have any websites on how they put the braces on and stuff like that. Any websites about braces will help.

i was scared too. i don't think anywebsite can prepare you for it tho. it depends of wat you are correcting. i had an over-bite and a tooth that grew out the wrong way on the bottom of my mouth. after i got mine it wasn't that bad. it's just uncomfortable and the first few adjustments hurt a lot so much you can't eat well. **take like tynenol before you get adjusted the first few times. **i lost a lot of weight because of my braces. well it was like that for me because they took out 2 premolars from the top of my mouth. the pain was unbearable till i took about 4 tynenol that eventually knocked me out cold. the braces were put on days later to close up the spaces. wasn't pleasant at all. was on mashed potatoes for weeks.

anyway. its uncomfortable. sometimes you'll find a problem where theres a piece of metal that rubs against ur tongue and hurts you a lot, also there's the thing that happens when the space is being filled and the wire comes out the other end and cuts ur cheeks. nothing unbearable. thats why they give us wax. idk if it'll be like that for you - like i sed it different for everyone. but you know wat, after 2 1/2 yrs it was all worth it. my smile's perfect and i might get them off by next week. so i'm excited about that. also u might even get to bleach ur teeth afterwards which'll leave yur teeth whiter than before. =Ddon't worry about it. you'll be glad you did it. just make sure afterwards u use ur retainers everyday *don't forget* otherwise ur years of discomfort and work will be for nothing!!! xD

Getting braces on- no worry. It does not hurt AT ALL!
But getting them tightened hurts just a little.
Before I had my braces put on, I was really scared. But you can put a mirror up and see what the orthodontist is really doing. Yeah, but getting braces does not hurt. As 4 websites, go to google and type in braces or braces help or even braces procedure.

There is a site that I know of, www.bracesinfo.com. It is kind of old but they tell you everything. It helped me a lot, I'm sure it will help you to. Another thing you can do is just search some of your questions on the internet, like google and you will find the websites of orthodontists' offices. Even though most of them will be in a town/state that is no where near you the information on there sites can help. I have A LOT of orthodontists' sites but there are too many for this post. Email me and I can email you back the websites that I know. So...just go to the bracesinfo.com site and search on google and you will likely find alot of sites that will help you.
