They're okay, but cherries and watermelon are low-GLI fruits. They score low on the glycemic index scale because they're higher in sugar and lower in fiber, causing a blood sugar rise and drop and increased hunger if you have them to quikly. Better for a weight loss (lower calorie) diet are high fiber fruits such as apples and oranges.
