Question

I need a sippy cup prefer a straw one but they all seem to leak.I bought the nuby sipper and it leaks to and it says it want.I even bought the munchin cupcicle and it leaks.Are there any type of cups for older babies he is 16 months old that DO NOT LEAK ?

I buy my 18 mo old the hard plastic cups with the leak guards inside. I was buying him the nubby ones until I realized he was MAKING the milk leak out by biting it and pulling out. With the hard ones they actually have to suck to get the milk out.

LOL. I went through this as well. We always just used the platex ones, but when they drop them the plastic part fell out. I'm sure they have improved since then, as my boys are 5 and 8 now, but evidently not!
Just skip the sippie and go to a big boy cup. He'll make a mess, but he'll have the biggest self confidence. Use sippies for going out only.

I haven't found a straw cup that doesn't leak.

I've tried. We're still using the regular sippy lid cups for travel and my 18 month old drinks out of a normal children's cup for meals.

My niece had one that only releases juice when she bites or puts pressure on the nipple, but she figured out how to make that one leak as well, by using her fingers to squeeze the nipple and make juice come out. I don't think there is a leak-proof sippy cup. You may just have to live with droplets.

I had good luck with Platex brand cups with built-in straws.
