I'm wanting to. I just need to make sure I can without losing any critical data.
I have a Dell computer that came with XP, so I'm hoping that using the System Restore CD will get me back to XP.
Vista sucks. It looks cool, and its got some neat toys, but I hate how it treats all users as if they're dumb (The User Account Control, the inability to edit certain files under the Windows directory, etc).

My main computer has XP. I inherited a brand new Vista computer, it's been one big mess but I have adapted and now have a working printer attached and also a wireless usb adapter connected, luckily it is not my main computer, cause it has too many problems. And the thing i hate the most is when it asks questions before it does anything. Very annoying.

I never saw a need for Vista considering the recent security issues it had and it can use alot of ram. I'm sticking with XP Pro with service pack 2. Haven't had any problems with it.

NO, this is new so I will wait until the problems have been fixed.
Download Windows Vista upgrade advisor, it will scan your system and tell you what version you can have and other information.
