Neither! The only way to defeat terrorism is with a SS type of determination! Half as* measures breed discord! Pull out of Iraq and use bombers to subdue the population!
Use black opts more! America could but we would have to get real mean! Shooting a few leaders just causes more leaders, devastating a few country's now that could cause worldly fear!
Its one thing to die for what you believe in, its totally another to be a terrorist knowing your actions could get your country nuked!

Terror is an idea you can not win against that. 500 years from now someone will blow a building up. Taken at face value that means we will have lost. That said if we would be smart and refocus and declare war on Al Qaedia I think a Moderate Republican would be the best choice.

In any war, one side will lose and one side will win (unless they draw, and that is rare).
To lose, one of these two things has to happen:
1) You give in; "throw in the towel".
or
2) Your army is overwhelmed military by numbers and production by the other side (i.e., like if the Russians wanted to stomp Poland, for example.)
In the War on Terror, numbers and production capacity heavily favor the Americans. Iran can never supply insurgents with enough weapons, recruits, and funding to match what America can bring to the table.
Therefore, America can only lose if it quits.
Republicans understand this; Democrats don't. Therefore, I believe the Republicans can win this war, while the Democrats might throw it.

No war is one by politicians. Politicians such as Nancy Pelosi and her entourage can do much to diminish the morale of our troops; however, at the end of the day it's the bravery and skill of our troops that defend our great country.
Having said that, the Republicans at least realize that Muslim extremists want to destroy all "evil" westerners. The Democrats are an embarassment to our nation.
I served in the United States Marines from 1985-1994 and was sent to Operation Desert Shield/Storm. While stationed at the Port of Jubail, Saudi Arabia, I had the opportunity to go into the homes of Muslims.
We did contracts for their businesses to support our troops. One night, my superior officer asked Mohammed, "What do Muslims think about the Jews and Americans?"
His reply was that in the end times the Jews would be destroyed by Muslims. The Jews would try to hide from the Muslims behind bushes and the bushes would point them out so they could be killed.
Muslims also consider the U.S. citizens as evil because of Hollywood and many Americans addictions to alcohol and pornography.
So when I hear that Muslims are peaceful, I just shake my head in disbelief. In summary, remember as the Bible points out, "We wrestle not against flesh and blood but against powers and principalities..."

Retards, listen up.
In WAR , ALL SIDES LOSE PERIOD.
You cannot have a war on a word, or idea/ideal, this smells like the crusades to me, wake up!
The only POSSIBLE way to stop a belief,idea,ideal is to eliminate its source (the entire middle east) and to snuff out any thing that resembles it trying to popup later. Even this is not for sure.
However its the closest your EVER going to get to putting things right in that **** hole of the world.

none really ... think of it this way democratic party wins the last 400 troops out there will have no way of defending themselves republican party wins they are still stuck there so in the end no one really wins

i think AMERICA can win the war on terror.
by the way, the war on terror has nothing to do with the war in iraq.
since dems are more likely to end that conflict - i guess the current dems are more likely to win.
