The doc gave you a clean bill of health; but he used his skill tests, time and a lot more to do it. That's what you're paying for.

You have to pay for the cleaning charges of course. Those bills of health can be pretty filthy at times.

It's the good ole' Ameican way. Now, you have to pay first before you can be seen, under most circumstances. If you can't pay up front, they will send you a bill. If you cannot pay the bill, the medical company will contact a collection agency. So on, and so on.etc.

His time,training,expertise,responsibility and gratitude that there was nothing wrong .He still has to pay bills,staff,insurance.

You did not have to see him-how would you have felt if he had found a life threatening condition and he charged you double
