can I still collect for injury? It has been declared 'their' fault and I just want to know is it too late to tell them I want to be compensated for my hurt neck. I havent gone to the doctor and I am sure there is nothing to do for my pain except time.

As long as you didn't sign any kind of "settlement", it is definitely not too late to file a claim for injuries you sustain in this accident!

I was in a very minor accident several years ago, and it was several months before I began having neck pain. Sometimes it takes a while to sneak up on you after an injury.

Good luck!

Well, if you're not injured, then it's a pretty dishonest thing to try to collect for it. Either way, your first stop would have to be a medical doctor to state what injuries you have. You should always try to go to a doctor after an accident because what seems like soreness right now could be masking a more serious problem underneath.

Has "their" insurance company asked you to sign off on the accident? Did you? Go to a doctor and discuss your pain. May be a strain, may be something serious. Don't sign anything until you know what the problems are caused by.

You can go to a doctor to get checked out and they will pay for your medical bills plus a little extra. Don't get greedy though and make a huge claim out of it with an attorney and everything. That is the reason insurance rates are so high now. But it is no problem to get checked out.

In order to collect you need to go to the doctor to verify your claim. However the longer you wait the less likely you are to collect anything, as the pain can less be attributed to the accident and more attributed to other activities you do in life.

If your neck and back are sore then you were injured. See a lawyer right away!
