and yes I know this is in the wrong section, but hey I asked the question in this section... and the violation notice came from this section... so this question gets to go in this section too!!

Let me add - that as a Christian I never NOT expected to get reported for a true violation. However, the question I asked was an honest question, not offensive or rude and didn't break any of the guidelines. Also, I wouldn't complain about a violation notice if I broke the rules. I don't think because I am a Christian I think I am above the rules.
I don't want anyone to think that I am complaining just because I am a Christian and that I got a violation notice. I am complaining because I asked a great question and it got reported, and as usual I just get the automated response from Yahoo.

I find it funny that we can get a violation notice for just about anything.
Still, I'm surprised that you got one though! :( You've been nothing but kind on this forum

No. I realise my question rattled someone good and it was probably a good question to ask again in a slightly different way, It's no use complaining to Yahoo they never reinstate a question once it's been removed nor are there any consequences for the person who makes phony abuse reports.

I got 9 this morning. Tomorrow is my last day in Answers. I am tired of the violations and emails. I got 17 this week already.

I'm surprised someone found one of your questions or answers offensive enough to report! That's just silly.
My personal best was 11 notices within the space of 3 hours....I must have been PMSing that day ;)

Yea it gets frustrating, but I don't usually use bad language or racial bigotry so if my answers are flagged, it is because someone has been really effected by it, and has had their faith completely challenged to the point of wanting my answer to go away.
That kinda gives me a shot in the arm, and makes me feel sorry for them, more than angry, but still frustrated.

YES, yes it does. It also makes me want to pull my hair out when I try to dispute a violation notice and the Yahoo Nazis send me nothing but a canned response. *Stomps away from computer furiously*

Actually, sometimes, I get a certain sense of pride that I was reported. Makes me feel like I did something to someone that they were offended by. And most of the time it's for something completely outrageous too.

No, it validates my view that Christians are intolerant.
Why would I specify them? Let's stack up the number of deleted accounts from ALL other beliefs/non-beliefs to those of Christians. I bet the numbers would astound you.
ALL Christians need to be put on notice : being a Christian doesn't allow you to be a prick online, nor does it exempt you from being reported.

I get a warm, fuzzy feeling nowadays. It just proves that the Revolution is right. One of these days you won't have to worry about it anymore... Freedom from violations for all!!

No, but it often confuses me as to why. I got one for this answer yesterday:
Question: Is every one related to each other?
Deleted Answer: Yes, and Kevin Bacon is the link to all of us.
I'm still puzzled over that. Someone must really hate Kevin Bacon.
