Does thet mean thet the WBTS did not have the TRUTH before the latest teaching changes, or Does it mean they had the TRUTH before the changes and have lost the TRUTH, and if they make a change in the future, doesn't it mean that they don't have the TRUTH now?

I know it is confusing

Your question is not confusing. What is confusing is how the Watch Tower always thinks it can have everything both ways.

If "new light" makes the path brighter, as the passage in Proverbs they use to support this doctrine purports, then that means that, while things may come more clearly in focus, the clearer picture should not contradict what has come before. For example, if you walk through a dark room with a flashlight, as your beam touches objects around the room, they come into focus, but they do not become something that they never were. To suggest such a thing is completely irrational on any level, but when we speak about a God who says He is the same "yesterday, today, and forever", it makes even less sense.

You’re right. Truth never changes only our understanding in relation to the truth gets clarified as we proceed releasing the spiritual and emotional barriers from our consciousness.
WBTS made a lot of changes to their ‘truth’ yet they fell far from the ‘tree’ of understanding what truth and spiritual freedom is all about.
Their current truth is just an alteration of previously imposed bondage with new additions.
I can’t help it but feel sorry for those still under WBTS’s thump….

The Watchtower society is a cult following the teachings of a man not of God. There have been many times that they have predicted the end of the world and have had to recant when it did not happen. The bible says no one knows the day or hour only the Father in heaven. Truth does not change and those who do not follow the truth will be deceived.

Their teaching changes as soon as something don't turn out as they believed it would be.
At the time my sister decided to be a Jahova Witness they had this prediction that the world was going to end in 3 years. They have since recanted and changed that.

The truth is no one knows the exact time this will happen so their putting a time limit on it tells me they were lacking in knowledge and still are.

The only religious truth is atheism. God does not exist.

All other "truths" are relative and change over time. Look at the flip-flopping of the Catholic Church over the centuries.

Did Noah have "the Truth"?

Did Abraham have more of "the Truth"?

Moses?

John the Baptist?

(Daniel 12:4) Make secret the words and seal up the book, until the time of the end. Many will rove about, and the true knowledge will become abundant.

Bingo!

Critical thinking skills at work! Congratulations.

All cults do this when they can no longer hide their mistakes.

"We have discovered "new" truth! It's not like we were really wrong before... we just didn't know all that needed to be known at the time" or other similar garbage.

And the poor sheeple fall for it and remain ensnared.

There is a saying

" A word of Truth in season"

What the devil does that mean?!

So, I'm thinking that the idea is that the "truth" can only be understood if it is in season, and when the season changes; so does the "truth"
Again I say
WHAT? I mean, it Sounds like English!
