The only way to Heaven according to the majority of the Christians is following the path of Jesus. Is this place exclusive for Christians? What about the rest of the good people in this world.

yep well the traditional streets of gold heaven is christians only. I think the Islam guys go to a different zip code as well as Mormons etc. They all get a different version. The smart believer goes with the religion that best suits how they would like to spend their afterlife. If you are heavy into worshipping I recommend going with Christianity. If you want your own planet go with Mormonism and so on.

The only way a person can get a place in Heaven is to accept Christ as your savor.and that you believer he died on the cross for you ( and the whole human race) and your sins that He rose on third day. just say simple ray. just like that. nothing else to do..it was the best choice I ever made! John 3:16 Also if just said this and are now a Christian watch out because the Devil will try to make you think you didn't mean it just remember the day you said and tel the Devil get out and shut in Jesus Mighty name,Amen. tis works everytime..he runs forever he gets so afraid of the name of Jesus he is gone!

No I do not believe that it is exclusive only to Christians...................If you read Dante's Paradise and he decribes the realms of Heaven there are all kinds of people in the Heavens seated by GOD and Jesus and the Blessed Mother.....................

I assure you that Jesus isn't who you need to be worried about. God is and god will have no problem letting you into heaven as long as you are a good person. And the definition of a good person doesn't include those who read the bible neccessarily. You have nothing to worry about.

First, I want to address the concept of being "good".

Just what do you mean by "good"?

If (in the honesty of your heart), you have to admit that you have told a lie, that you have taken what wasn't rightfully yours, that you have looked at another person with sexual desire (AKA lust) (which Jesus said is the same as committing adultery in your heart), or that you hated someone (maybe because they did something bad to you) (which Jesus said is tantamount to murder), then if you had to admit to these things, then you are a lying, thieving, adulterous murderer. How is THAT good?

But if you say you are no worse than anybody else, think about THIS: If you have ever told a lie, but you don't like others to lie to you, then you have a double standard - that makes you a hypocrite. How is THAT being a good person?

Or if you have ever stolen anything (taken what's not rightfully yours to take), but you don't want anybody to steal from YOU, then you have a double standard, making you a hypocrite. Again I ask, how is THAT being a good person?

Believing in good notions does not make us good.

Just think about that for a minute!

Now, getting to heaven.

I think you have a mistaken notion of how one gets to heaven.

People are excluded from heaven, not because they are not a Christian, or Jew, or Muslem, or whatever religion you happen to be looking at.

People are excluded from heaven because God is holy and can not tolerate sin, or allow sin to mess up His heaven the way it has messed up earth.

We sin, so heaven is no long an option.

Every religion gives you this path or that path to attain some kind of spiritual "purity" to make you acceptable to God, but we are still guilty, no matter what we do - fast and pray, deny ourselves basic physical pleasures, pray five times a day, spin a prayer wheel, give to charity, etc, etc - these are all very nice and dandy, but they do not eradicate the sins we've committed.

Here's where Christianity is different. The Bible says that God loved us so much, in spite of the fact that we've sinned, He doesn't want ANY body to be excluded from heaven, so He came to earth and humbled Himself to become a man.

When Jesus was born, the power of God caused the seed within Mary to start growing without the aid of a man, and the Holy Spirit of God imbibed (indwelt) that seed, so when that child was born, he was both the SON of God, and He was, by the very presence of God's Holy Spirit, actually God incarnate in a physical body.

Now, here's the thing - Jesus never sinned. He never did anything against the will of the Father, so He was not subject to death ("the wages of sin is death"). When Jesus died on the cross, it was by the forecouncel of God. It was God's plan for Him, so that our sins can be covered and forgiven - the guilty replaced by the innocent.

In otherwords, when Jesus died, He payed the penalty for OUR sins (crimes against God). If we acknowledge our guilt, and turn from sinning, then God is able to forgive us (based on the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus). He can then cleanse us from all our unrighteousness with the pure blood of Jesus, then we can be reconciled to Him and He can then adopt us into His "forever family" and bring us to heaven when we die.

In conclusion, heaven is not solely for Christians. It is for anybody who has not sinned, or who has had his sins atoned for. If you can find another way to remove the guilt and stain of your sins, then God would be obligated to welcome you into heaven. Unfortunately for you, "there is no other name given among men whereby we might be saved". God provided the atoning sacrifice, and to try to circumvent it is like slapping God in the face and telling Him that His method of salvation is not good enough for you. Why would God want someone in heaven who treats Him like that, after all He did for us?

There is no one good but God, so yes. You can't buy your way into heaven with 'good' deeds. Ulterior motives destroy "good" deeds anyway. So, if you were helping the lady accross the street just to curry favor in heaven, is that really a good deed?

" I am The Way, The Truth, and The Life; no man can come to the Father except through me". -- Jesus Christ (Jn. 14:6)

" Neither is there salvation in any other; for there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved". (Acts 4:12)

I believe Jesus.

((((sailcat)))))
this is one of the toughest questions that Christians face and no mistake.

God created heaven for those who love Him. According to scripture, he knows your heart. No person can tell you that you are going anywhere at all. Only God knows you.

That's the best I can do brother

blessings :)

It seems anti-Christian to suggest no one else would get to experience that. What happened to loving your neighbor?

...I wouldn't want to go if that were the case.

Heaven isn't a place - it is just part of the package of delusional nonsense known as religion.
