What track has the slowest average speed of all the NASCAR Nextel Cup tracks, w/ an average race speed just over 80mph?

You're right. The 2nd post got it right. I thought it would be Martinsville also, but after looking I saw that it was Infineon. Good job folks.

It's already been mentioned, but it's got to be Martinsville. It's fairly flat and they have to slow up so much for those tight turns at each end. It could be Infineon also, that's a slower course than Watkins Glen anyway.

I was going to say Infineon as well, I knew that road courses are slow, but I almost thought it was Bristol. But then again, it's called "The Fastest Half Mile", or something like that.

Believe it or not trego...it is Infineon. 81 mph is the average...IIRC. I saw that yesterday while I was searching for Scoob's answer.
