AMEN.Your rite, you can't see the wind but you can feel it, just like with God, you can't see him but you can feel him.Good observation. Some people are just blind to the truth and it is sad.Ignore all the junk you will receive on here, they don't like it when someone actually makes sense. They will make a drinking game out of it,God help them.

You can feel the wind, you can see the effects of it(trees blowing), it can be monitored with instruments... just to name a few.
As far as finding writings from long ago, big freaking deal. There are writings from the ancient Egyptians, using your logic that must mean that the Egyptian Gods are the true Gods because it predates Christianity... or take your pick of the so many other religions that predate it.
You are just proof that the schools need to teach the facts more and not the crap the bible sells... in your case you might have wanted to pay a bit more attention in English class. When you can sound like an intelligent, educated person, then maybe people would be more inclined to take you seriously.

You can hear the wind, you can measure the windspeed with instruments, you can tell which way it's going, and you can feel the wind on your face. Meteorologists can even measure the windchill factor in the wintertime. Can you say the same for God?
No, they haven't found Noah's Ark. That was a fraud.
Perhaps, just to be on the safe side, you should follow every religion in existence and worship every God. Because what if it turns out that you were following the wrong one? I shudder to think, frankly.
If you're going to ask questions to try and make someone believe, at least ask an original question. You people keep trotting out the same old tired stuff that you get from websites and preacher's sermons. Unoriginal and unintelligent. Frankly I'm bored.

You can still measure wind. It is not hard. That is a basic experiment that kids can do in school with some cups and popsicle sticks.
Show me a link to a scientific site (such as the science department of a university) that says that the ark has been found. There are a lot of people who point to anomolies and say that is the ark however the experts do not believe it is anything more than a geological structure. There have also been people who claimed to have found it and then conveniently forget to bring back any evidence to support their claim or remember how to get back there.
Finally, do you believe in the gods of the other religions? Osirus, Odin, Apollo, Jupiter, Allah, Mercury, Mars, Venus, Ra, and plenty of other gods. Do you believe in those? There are or were people who believed in them as strongly as you believe in yours. If you don't believe in those then why do you expect other people to believe in yours?

I can physically measure air for its weight, its contents and its pressure on the earth. I can understand that when air is in motion we call it wind and I can use it to sail or fly a Kite. I can predict when and where it will blow and can even create wind if I need to.
Lets get your god into the lab so we can try running some tests and measurements on it.
You say it can not be done but then you want to claim God is real.
Please think about reality.
Nobody has found Noahs Ark and if you believe somebody has you had better do a good review of their record of claims.
If it is Ron Wyatt or the B.A.S.E. group they have both made wild claims and provided exactly zero evidence.

Unfortunately, the wind/god argument falls flat. You can prove wind exists quite easily with meteorological equipment. How do you think the weatherman gets his figures?
Noah's Ark? Okay, so I take it you've seen photos of that wreckage, right? Explain to me how two of every unclean animal and seven of every clean animal, plus Noah's family, plus food to feed all those creatures for 40 days and nights could possibly fit onto that craft? We do not have the capacity to build such a craft now, even with lightweight polymers and synthetic alloys. It certainly didn't exist then when all he had was wood and nails.
I'm not knocking you for believing, I'm just attacking your arguments in the hope that you'll be able to defend them. Believing without question is mere foolishness. It's better to think critically about your beliefs and develop a more solid foundation. It's been said that the same fire which melts wax also hardens clay. What are your beliefs made out of?

Before you engage unbelievers, you are really going to have to learn some better apologetics. No, you can't see wind, but you can scientifically measure it's effects. God and His effects cannot be measured scientifically, which I think is the point. Faith is the evidence of things unseen, the confidence of things hoped for. Hebrews 1:1
When you rant like this and use foolish arguments, you do neither the saved nor the sinner any favors. Perhaps you need to pray for better guidance on how to evangelize.

What an idiot. Use your common sense for christ sake. You can feel the wind (especially if you go on the sea front here today, you can feel it good and proper! along with a soaking from the rain!).
Your god offers nothing, just an invisible sky daddy. If hes so wonderful and powerful why does it not make itself known? Because it doesn't exist does it.

Wind can be measured with instruments. Check out the Weather Channel. Check out the National Hurricane Center. Wind is not a good metaphor for the concept you are trying to get across.

It can be measures and calculated. I get what you're saying but you have to realize that God is an untestable hypothesis. You either believe or you don't. Even the scientific community admits there is no way presently that they can prove or disprove any supernatural forces. If you believe great. But don't try to make others.

wind is experienceable. it's effect is dirrectly visible and we have *proven* how it functions. you can sense wind with more than one sense (touch and hearing). it's directly observeable while 'god' is not. deity's can *not* be proven. ever. and for your own good i will suggest that you not be so vain in the future. what deity would create a world in which only the minority of the population would reach paradise if he loved everyone. i say if you're a GOOD person you'll go to heaven or paradise or what ever there is. but people like you that try and blackmail people to your religion with threats of suffering are most likely to 'spend eternity in hell' as you put it. vhement evangelism is NOT what 'christ' taught. he taught to love, tolerate, and resepect your neighbor, MEN that came later that wanted POWER edited the bible, THEY want you to believe sole ly in the religion. not god.
read your bible and look at what it teaches you rather than listening blindly to so called 'church elders'
