I have! When I was a Christian I memorized my bible, as a matter of fact I still have over 40+ copies of the bible and read it every morning. As a Muslim I am attempting to do the same. I have read the Quran about 20+ times or more since I lost count already and I am attempting to understand and memorize my book (the Quran to me is the most amazing book in the world) Even young children can memorize the whole book and then be taught the meaning hidden within. Every time I read the Quran I find something new :) it so so amazing! Anyway this question is about you, not me!!!
Have you ever read: The Analects, The Bhagavad Gita, al-Qur'an, The bible, The Talmud , Tao-te-ching, Upanishads or the Vedas... Sorry if I missed any books guys these are from the top of my head :)
Thanks so much for your kind answers my friends,
A.M

I've read many books on my religion and thoughtfully analyzed all of them. I'm Pagan, we don't have a "one true book." Unless you count everyone's BoS, in which case, I've only read my own, as is proper.
That said, I've read the Bible, the Tao Te Ching, some of the Vedas, the Gospel of the FSM and the Egyptian book of the Dead. I've learned a lot from all of them.

Nope. Pretty much I stick with the Bible. It's enough for me. I'm willing to listen and discuss (passionately, but not hatefully) the topic with anyone who's willing to do the same with the end goal being the exchange of information for the purpose of serious, intelligent, and prayerful contemplation. I do not believe that the Bible is the sole source of truth, and I do not believe that anyone need fear the truth. BUT, I do believe the Bible to be the first, best and only source of direct divine revelation, so, while I'll listen and respectfully consider other views for my own edification, don't expect to convert me to your way of thinking. I may modify, or even change outright, some of what I believe, but there's a core on which all I believe is built, and I'm somewhat sure it's unshakable.

I have! It is quite amazing what understanding meditation can bring! I have read the bible 50+ times and I gain more knowledge every time I re-read it and study it for it's full worth. It's like a treasure hunt that never ends!!! I am actually working on memorizing it word for word. I started in the New Testament. I am having a blast doing so! It's like the more I spend time in the Word, the more naturally it just flows out of my spirit.

Sure! As a Mormon, we are counseled to read the Book of Mormon every day, as well as the Bible. Yes, I learn something new everytime I prayerfully study them. I think there is truth in all good books. Good luck in your spiritual quest.

By constantly and continously checking them up.
You get home inspection when you buy your home thats a check up
You get car inspection when you buy your car that is checkup
You get teeth inspected that is a checkup
You get your oil change on time that is a checkup
You even clean the dishes out of the dirty sink and clean the sink that is a checkup
WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU THAT YOU DON'T CHECK UP ON YOUR SOUL EVERY SINGLE WAKING SECOND OF THE DAY AND NIGHT.......that is where we failed!

Nope. Pagans don't have a holy book or scriptures. Our "bible" is the earth and all its wonders. I will learn from nature all my life and never know every nuance of its power, beauty, or mystery.

I allow the Holy Spirit of God to guide me into all truth while reading the Bible.
The Bible is the only book in the world where the Author actually sits with you while you read & study it.
God truly is amazing

Isn't it fun to read Holy Scriptures as if for the first time? And reading them without advanced commentary and understanding of the "learned scholars" makes them so fresh and real. I admire you for your dedication to your holy scriptures.
