I want your opinion, but some of you are too religious. You cannot answer a simple question without writing three paragraphs. Use wisdom, and give me an answer. If it is long, I am going to hide it before reading because I feel as if that person is not in the Spirit for which I seek. You do not have to be a Christian to answer. My best answers are usually from non- Christian because they keep it real. The bible does say "The children of this world are wiser than the children of light."

WITHOUT preaching you a sermon. The only PURPOSE of church, is a union of 3 people or more, where you all discuss the teachings and your personal experiences of the Father, in each of your lives.

1.The Love of Christ.
2. The desire to be set apart for His glory.
3.To have the desire to be His lilies among thorns. (see Spurgens commentary on Song of Songs 2:2)
4.We need a new wave of revolutionaries, young men and women like Martin Luther, Jim Elliot, Stephen, Philip, and other legends of the faith. We need a revival among the youth of the world (high school - college), for we will be the ones who step up as the next church leaders. And in-order for this to happen we need active discipleship, we need the older generation to step up and teach us how to lead.

God Bless!

The church is in desperate need of a soul. It is all pomp and circumstance with very little substance. The church should be like our creator, growing and evolving.

Seeking God is a lifetime mission, "salvation" is a short cut devised by man.

Here is a quote from a song from casting crowns:
"But if we are the Body
Why aren't His arms reaching
Why aren't His hands healing
Why aren't His words teaching
And if we are the Body
Why aren't His feet going
Why is His love not showing them there is a way
There is a way"

I think the greatest need in the church is growth, meaning more lost souls won for His kingdom.

The greatest need is the Holy Spirit. Many quench the Spirit, making it hard for him to do his job.

The greatest need is to quit thinking collectively as a church, and think individually, for we will all be judged as individuals, and not collectively as a church.
