I'm just curious. The whole time i've been visiting R&S i've not seen 1 person who claims to actually worship the devil in a non-atheistic type of way. What led you to this decision, how has it changed your life? Are you a positive role model to children despite your beliefs? Do you get along with others well, or are you intollerant of others? Do you believe that if you were intollerant this is a personality flaw of yours, or bestowed by your religion? I'm just very curious as i've very infrequently speak with followers of satan who wish to share their experience with the religion.

no replies yet that claim to worship satan. very weird. I guess this statement stands very true?
"The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist."

angelktb5684 - What i meant by that statement was that a lot of people claim to be satan worshipers but dont' believe in God. I find that to be highly moronic and don't really want opinions from those people. They seem to think Satan is god, and there is no other and i dunno i just think they are making stuff up.

If you do then answer my questions. Don't just say 'hail satan' and walk by. Stop and talk, explain some things so that I understand. If not for me, for others who are also interested. Thanks.

I agree with you. However, why i was asking this question is to get their perspective and possibly hear from an articulate intelligent satanist who could not only give their perspective on some things but also let us (or me) know if they actually do encourage people to behave a certain way.

I have already read the satanic bible, and seems very bible-like. I agree and disagree with lots of its content. Just wondering how devout followers interperate the pages and 'follow'.

I was a Satanists for awhile, just as I was Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Hindu, etc. But now I am a Gnostic, and will be so for the rest of my life.
First of all Satanist are not quote DEVIL worshipers. To keep it simple, they basically believe in living life to the fullest while alive, not living a restricted, conforming lifestyle, waiting for a pipe dream called heaven.
To answer your 50 questions. Those are judgments that you would have to make on your own. For what anyone else would tell you would be there biased opinion. And I don't have all day to do a term paper for you.
Get your self a Satanic Bible and read it, then make your own decisions.
BUT ALWAYS REMEMBER!! Satanists ARE NOT devil worshipers!!! They worship Satan. There is a huge difference!!! Satanists can have a positive effect on society, for they are merely acting as advocates to the norm.
But devil worshipers will lie, cheat, steal and most likely will KILL you given the chance! I dabbled in it as part of my spiritual training, and barely escaped with my life.
Be very careful of who you listen to on this site, for it is nothing more than a modern day witch board, and you have no clue of who you are listening to.

I worship Satan NOT as a being but as a Force.
It is a part of a person that is inside of everyone. When you worship Satan, you are bringing out a part of life and existence that other religions deny their followers.
I practice Satanic Ritual as described in The Satanic Rituals by Dr. Anton LaVey as well as self influenced rutual practice.
I practice Satanism as a part of my daily life. It's how I live. just christians do in their daily lives, so i guess when you look at it, my life is one big Satanic Ritual.
That' s it from me 4 now
Ave Satanas!

it's hard to find any real follower of satan that knows waht they're talking about. if you're referring to the church of satan , they don't *worship* satan. many 'satanistic' cults and religions are called 'left hand path' religions where the self is viewed as having the power of a god and you glorify yourself, your own spirit as a god, rather than some seperate deity. in these religions satan is more of a role model because according to christian mythology this was the reason he was cast to hell.
if anyone tells you they're a satanist and worship satan as a god then odds are they haven't studied their religion and are just claiming it for attention
as for role modeling and such i know a few satnists and while many of them dress rather gothy (course so do we pagans) they're usually pretty good people. their religion doesn't make them violent or evil by nature any more than christianity does. actually i've met many many more vhement and borderline violent christians than satanists in my life.

I used to know someone who did. I couldn't believe it when I found out. He was one of the nicest kids, and never bad talked christianity or other religions. I found out during a convo. when he metioned a person I didn't know asked who it was. He said they founded the church of satan- or something like that- and when I asked if he worshipped satan he said yeah. Blew me away.

Why worship satan when you can worship GOD? You cannot trust satan. He's a bad dealer and a liar. But you can trust God with your life - I mean that both literally and figuratively.
I did and so with those of my love ones. He never broke a promise.
Besides, God is far, far, far, far (and so on) greater than satan.
