My son is going with a girl who has had a secret crush on him for over 20 years!! I don't like her, she is selfish, bossy, and possesive. He is totally in love with her. I don't think she is capable of love. My son is only her possession. I can't explain love the way young folks look at it today except to say I think it is stupid and most times downright destructive to one or both of the parties.
Love is all about respect and not noticing the faults in the one you love, and giving them room to breathe. It's not about "crushes" and longings and never realizing your dreams.
If either one of you are married, get over the crush and move on. If you need professional help, get it. I'm betting you will figure it out and either forget this person or do something about it.

I'm in the same situation as you... But it has passed a year not 1 1/2. I don't know what to say, I've been trying to figure this out myself. But when I go out, even if it's just with friends, to hang out, most times I feel better, Actually if I drink I feel much better :)) (Dunno about ur age)
You should go out, and just enjoy yourself. But at the same time keep your eyes open for other girls... Maybe that will work.

I had a guy that I crushed on for about a year, and I thought I would "love" him 4EVer. But I got over him. You prob will too. It sounds as if youre tired of crushing on this guy. Well, go w/ that. Just keep your options open and search for other guys, you will find one who sparks your interest.

List the things you don't like about her; the unwanted feeling she made you feel. Or, better yet, approach her and tell her she's been causing you havoc.
