I strongly suggest you take a good course, this will make things much easier. Also, read magazines and newspapaer in English. Listen Music in English and try to understand their lyrics.

Browse through american and English sites, this will be of great help. Try to talk with native english speakers and pay attention to tehei pronunciation. Study verbs and idiomatic expression, this unfortunately difficult for foreigners but much important.

Try watching English TV Channels with subtitals on in your native language. Listen to News on BBC. Read English Newspapers.
