If your ASVAB scores support the fact that you did recive an adequate education, your Recruiter should have some avenues to explore. If your ASVAB's were not very good, you should try going to College.

I know you want to join the AF, but your mom might be more convinced to let you in the military if you join the Navy or coast guard. Right now alot of deployed AF personnel are filling Army positions by doing patrols and convoys. Plus the bases can get attacked by mortars.

the airforce have a death count of about 1 every 60 days join the marines i would say tip of the spear even in front of the army but yes show your mom how safe you would be and once you join it still could take months or years be for you even see active duties by then the war could end so think why your joining....either way go you hope you kill lots of them

the only way around it that I can see is to get some college credits under your belt..a semester or two should be sufficient. that way your high school education is no longer a factor.
youmight want toe xplain to your mother..or better yet have some one else do it.. that refusing to sign the transcripts may only push you further away and she COULD end up losing you altogether if she forces you to cut all ties with her., if indeed this means that much to you. you are an adult and she needs to cut the aporon strings.

I don't know anything about homeschooling but I can tell you and you can pass this on to your mother that 57 active duty AF have died during this war as opposed to the 2,215 Army. I think joining the AF, you'll be pretty safe.

What did your recruiter tell you? There has to be a way. These guys have dealt with all kinds of difficult parents, they should know what to do.

I don't see the great cause; I would rather die crossing the street.
Not to mention you want to join the airforce; you will be in the rear with the gear. Don't worry the Army will protect you.
