I like a guy I work with, and from the advice I've gotten from other questions I've asked about him, I think he def might like me as well. Problem is that he's leaving for college around August 20th. So I'm trying to figure out how, when and if I should tell him that I like him. I'm thinking of either telling him through AIM or in person. So what do you think?

If I tell him through AIM, should I send him a long message while he's away? Or just start a normal convo with him and just bring it up somehow? Any ideas how I could say it?

Or if I tell him in person, like at work or somethin, how could I say it without straight out saying I like you?

Also, I'm not sure when I should tell him. I'm going away July 29- August 8. I'm only working with him one day until I go away, and then only like 3 days between me coming back and him leaving for college. Should I tell him before I go away? While I'm away? When I come back? Before he goes to college? While he's there? Any help would be great!

He's going to college a few hours from where I live, but he will come home for vacations, and probably some long weekends. And I believe he is planning to work where we do now during those breaks as well.

So what's holding you back? You sound really serious about this one. If he is going to college he has real potential. There are many girls at college that he will meet and if he doesn't know you exist, you will lose this one. Step up to the plate and swing the bat honey. You can only do one of two things, strike out or hit a home run. What's to lose?

Do it before he leaves and in person. It will mean more if you do it this way. If you use AIM, it won't be credible and it will lack emotion. Just tell him you like him and would like to get to know him better. This will create some incentive for him and you two can be together.
