I would wear khakis and a polo, just to be on the safe side. I'm sure there will be someone wearing jeans and a tee shrit or something. However, if your orientation is for work, then I wouldn't wear jeans.

We have a programming / computer environment and people get rather... laxed here.

It's typical in some of these environments to see Jeans and a collared shirt of some sort. Rarely do you get tshirts or anything but ..... casual itself can flex a lot.

There were no jeans allowed at my Call Center job but you could dress "business casual" there with the collared shirt and khakis of some sort.

Interesting that this corporation is 10x more large and formal in reality but the call center asked us to dress a lot nicer when we never even SAW people. Ha.

Depends on the type of job. I have a very corporate job and if they told me I could dress casual that would mean khaki dress pants with a coordinating top. Otherwise, I would wear nice jeans and a nice top.

A pair of slacks maybe some cute ballet flats and a nice shirt. No skirts, no jeans or sweats something you would wear to a casual dinner with friends.

As a girl you have some options. For a guy it would be black slacks or khakis and a polo but you can go with a nice skirt, blouse or any number of things. You know you job evvironment. Just maintain a professional image.

Instead of wearing the traditional shirt and tie, I would wear a pair of relaxed fit pants (pressed of course) and a pullover polo shirt (either with the company logo on it if you have 1 and they gave you 1 or something tasteful - like your family crest).

Casual usually means what ever you would wear off hours, but you shouldn't wear flip-flops, or a spaghetti strap, or show too much skin.

No suit or dress clothes. Casual pants (no jeans or sweats) or a sundress would be good. Keep it simple and comfy.
