I'm guessing there may be evangelical Christians who are not conservative and conservative Christians who are not evangelical.

Any thoughts?

Conservative Christians don't make a song and dance about it.

"Evangelical" is not really a matter of conservative or liberal. It's not even, really, a denomination of Christianity. It's more an approach to Bible study and worship that really just doesn't concern itself with whether a thing is conservative or liberal. Viewpoints are expressed and discussed, evaluated in light of Biblical revelation as the content of truth they may hold. You accept what you believe the truth of it is, and go to the next point a little wiser than when you stopped. In my opinion, Evangelicals are more open to being told they're wrong simply because we accept the fact that no one, and not even everyone, will ever have the full knowledge of God (which is to say full knowledge of Who and What God is, not to mention all that God knows). We can only learn as much about Him as we can while we live, and there's just no time for squabbling about it. If you can't reconcile a point, leave it for now and go on to the next, get a little wiser, and come back to it. Religious knowledge is a living thing, and it grows with the more you know, and like any knowledge, the more you know, the more you can learn.

I Hate evangelical (fundamentalist) Christians! They are so stubborn, take the fact that all the species alive today have evolved from other species, they don't believe this and think that God magically made the earth and animals in it. Although I think God could exist and he started the big bang and everything; science and god don't have to be separate things. I also think the bible is bullshit, people wrote that to keep order when they couldn't control people easily.

Evangelicals seem very focused on the individual. Conservatives may be focused on the individual, but may also be focused on the greater society.
