When Yahoo goes to so much effort to block any referance to the watchtower people. True, they do not do it all the time. And it isn't the site being down.
Yes there are ways around it, but.....what do you think about that?

Even so, it wouldn't necessarily prove anything other than that some people may be biased against Jehovah's Witnesses.

But we already know that, don't we? (John 15:18-21)

NOTE: You may be correct, if this post goes through. Originally, I had the url of the Watchtower Society's website in this post. It was blocked.

Then I re-submitted the post WITHOUT the Watchtower Society's website. If THIS is posted, there's something fishy somewhere.

How does mentioning the Watchtower Society's website become spam? Many questions are asked here about Jehovah's Witnesses. The Official Website has the answers.

I am a JW. I know I am correct but, have never experienced any blocking or what you are talking about.

On Yahoo, getting hateful answers is normal for everyone. It doesn't have the same cache as being hated in the real world. There we are hated as holding on to the values of Jesus while most of the world only pays lip service to those commands. The Bible describes it as heaping coals upon their heads. It is that painful.

The questioner seems to allude to the fact that Yahoo Answers regularly rejects a post which includes a link to "watchtower.org". At times, they even reject a post which merely includes "watchtower" in the body of the text.

The reasons for this censorship are not entirely clear, but it is undeniable.

What do you mean when you say "block any reference to the watchtower people"? I don't understand.

So you think that Yahoo is run by omniscient people?

What exactly is the reasoning here?

Achtung writes "The questioner seems to allude to the fact that Yahoo Answers regularly rejects a post which includes a link to "watchtowr.org"."

Well of course. Spam is against the community guidelines, not surprisingly. Why would there be any mystery about why these are not allowed?

Interestingly, I had to remove the "e" in "watchtower" to get that to post. Presumably there's been so much of this spam that there's an automatic filter against it*. I wonder if there'll ever be a similar thing against that "smiling4ever" guy - he has to be among the top R&S spammers.

* Which of course makes me wonder how Achtung got it to post.

Blocked references to a particular group in no way proves whether that group is either right or wrong. If someone starts a group that stands on the principle "one plus one = three" all the blocked references in the world will in no way prove that group right.

I've seen plenty of questions and answers from and relating to JWs. That's hardly "blocking any reference."

It is proof that some of the Yahoo censors have brains. Watchtower is a dangerous cult.

No, that's just Spam control. They deserve what they get since they won't observe the rules.
