If he is not for you and you know it, end it and move on. Best way to get over it is to focus on things you enjoy doing and do them, whether it be with family, friends or work. Focus on the future and its possibilities while acknowlegde and understand you will go through a grieving process but come out ahead in the long run are key.

You can't get over a relationship that hasn't ended yet. If you start trying now, you will end the relationship yourself.

Just let him know that there is no need to drag the relationship if it has to end and move on... it might be hard... but my friend one or the other day you have to do it.. so decide now only....

It takes time, there is no way to speed up the process, but i give you props for realizing that it will never work out. Some people don't have the balls to do something about it when they know its not going anywhere.
