K-31 Ammo Question?

I've been looking to buy a K-31 sometime soon, I was wondering approximately how much a 20rd box of 7,5x55 Swiss retails for?

Wolf soft point runs in the $13-14 range for a box of twenty from most dealers. Cheaperthandirt.com has it for that. Midway has 60 rounds of milsurp FMJ for $30....fifty cents a pop like Raven said.

Price varies; I got some good wolf hunting ammo from AMMOMAN. I have two K-31 rifles; they are well made and very accurate and I love them. I just wish there was more surplus ammo available for them as they are the most expensive things to shoot I own. Takes all the fun out of plinking at over fifty cents a shot; I love my Persian Mauser as I can blast away with it for only seventeen cents a shell. I am going to check as I remember seeing a K-31 that had been rechambered for 308; which may be the way to go.

When I got my K31 about 5 years ago the Swss surplus ammo was cheap. A case of 480 rnds was like $60. Sadly, all that is gone except the two cases in my basement....and I'm hoarding that!

Wolf is good, but not as good as the GP11 and much more expensive.

I love the K31, but I really don't have the time or patience to reload. Maybe when I'm retired. I have two and will probably trade the birch one for something else I can get cheap ammo for.

The smallest quanity I've seen for sale is a 60 round 7,5 X 55 Swiss Combat Pack Runs $59 and change and is brass cased

of path you could, if it relatively is chambered for .308 Winchester. If not, you're caught using the unique 7.5x55mm Swiss around. Gun + incorrect ammo + pulling the set off = a visit to the wellbeing facility or morgue.
