John is right. God held the sun still for Joshua and that was the longest day not only in the bible but until today. It is even scientifically proved. Nasa observed there was a discrepancy with the position of the sun and time.

The first day, Genesis, gives a good account of the big bang which was the longest day, but the translators of the bible to English did not understand and used the incorrect word 'day'.

Here is a couple of times when God lengthed the day.
Joshua 10:12 Then spake Joshua to the LORD in the day when the LORD delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel, Sun, stand thou still upon Gibeon; and thou, Moon, in the valley of Ajalon.
Isaiah 38:8 Behold, I will bring again the shadow of the degrees, which is gone down in the sun dial of Ahaz, ten degrees backward. So the sun returned ten degrees, by which degrees it was gone down

A trick question. All days are the same length. almost exactly 24 hours . . . but not exactly the small difference adds to a quarter day per year, which is appended to the calendar at the end of February every fourth year. Giving us a leap year. But everyday is the same length.
LOVE your neighbor as yourself.
Amen.

It was when Joshua asked God for help and God made the sun stand still till everything was over.
That's the only day which is mentioned, which could be longer.... it could have been a longer day or maybe that the sun stayed that day longer in the heaven of a normal day.

I think it was yesterday. For me, that day nearly didn't end, and certainly not soon enough! But, it actually was a certain day in which the Israelites were fighting someone (don't remember who, and way too tired to look it up right now), and God extended the daytime so that the battle could be finished.

I believe it was when the Lord stopped the earth from moving so that Joshua could continue in the battle.
That one day lasted probably 36 hours or so.......
God is truly amazing when we call upon Him
