as i have recently changed my lottery numbers i would like to find out if they have ever been drawn as a winning selection before. i don't think the odd's on them being drawn twice can be very high.
is there a web site or something out there that tells you this information.
this is for the uk lottery and yes, i know it goes back a few years.
in fact, have the same set of numbers ever won the lottery on two different occasions before and what are the odds of this happening..

The Canadian Lotto 649 also has odds against of 14million to 1 and has been running for about 30 years. That's over 2,700 draws, yet keep in mind that there is 14 million possible combinations so 2,700 is just a drop in the bucket. However, 18 numbers have been drawn twice over those 30 years. The fact that a set of numbers have been drawn, does not effect the probability that it will be drawn again in the future. Indeed, since nothing in the Universe is truly random except in quantum mechanics, it is conceivable that there are fundamental attractors in how we draw the numbers via a draw machine. It would be a weakness that would be too complex for us to calculate and too weak of a correlation for us to detect statistically but it may exist. Check with the lottery commission's website first, some lottery commissions such as Texas have a page where you can enter the numbers and it'll tell you if those numbers would've ever won anything. Other's like Canada, make it hard for you and you either have to call their 1-800 number to ask them or search for a text file of all the numbers ever drawn (someone somewheres would've typed them all in) and then search that.

I live in New York and on our lottery website newyorklottery.org you can go back atleast 5 years and check out all the lottery games to see if your numbers were ever drawn. My numbers have never been drawn, so I am due to become a multimillionaire. By the way, never change your numbers. Good Luck
