I just read another question that said that "The Bible never said that God made a human-shaped mold, filled it with dirt then put it in the fridge for a few hours, it merely said he made man out of dirt."

Are Creationists simply content with the idea that we couldn't begin to imagine what method God would have employed to create man from dirt so there's not point discussing it? Or do they have honest discussions of how he may have done it?

Actually, lets not limit this to Judeo-Christian-Islamic beliefs, do people discuss this in any religion with a creation myth?

As soon as I figure out how He created the entire universe out of nothing, I'll get back to you. Suffice to say that if we believe He made the universe out of nothing He can make a man out of dirt (or water, or popsicle sticks, or whatever).

Actually, I've heard one theory. You see, there were molecules in this dirt that through some fortunate accident joined together to form an amino acid, that eventually became a strand of DNA for a very simple organism. Over the course of several million years there were occasional mutations to this organism that... you get the picture.

From my perspective, keeping the idea of creationism in front of us is important for the sake of science.

Science must not speak of purposes nor lack of purposes. When scientists say that evolution is not guided, they have strayed into religion. If theologians say that evolution is guided, then they must be seen as not speaking about science.

I think responsible people have got to keep these concepts apart and the intelligent design debate may help us do that.

EXTRA NOTE IN RESPONSE TO YOUR COMMENT:
Your question was so inane (as evidenced by the fact that you only got 4 responses) that I thought I would try to add something of merit to the discussion.

The bible says man was made of the dust of the earth. And to the dust he will return. God breathed the breath of life into him, and there was Adam. A breathing living soul. Just as the Bible says.
