They are basing this on creativity ,talent,singing ability,loyalty to the Cubs & passion for the team. My Mom was a die hard Cub fan & she passed a way in Dec. of last year & I thought this would be a great tribute to her. I have never sang in front of a group of people & I am vary nervous anyone have any ideas on how I can make this an audition for them to remember?

The audition was Friday. They said I did a great job. I was nervous, but it was a blast and I felt very honored to be there. Let's see if I make it to the next round. Thanks for the tips. I will post another question when I hear if I make it or not. If I make it to the next round, I will have to go back and sing again. Sing it in the traditional way and do not add any personal touch to the song, leave that for others to try and impress.

You know the words and have probably sang it 1000-times. Just be yourself and remember you won't be alone. Everyone in the park will be singing backup.
Relax... it'll all be over in 60-seconds.

you should really wear a cubs hat and ersey to make it look like your a big fan and dont just sing what everyone sings....add something personal.....but dont add alot so the song sounds wierd.....and sing it in a deep deep voice.......GOOD LUCK TO YOU.....LET ME KNOW IF YOU WIN
