Yeah, that would be a good name for it, dear. But you know, if you call it an earthquake that would work too, in the sense that "earth" is a general term referring to the surface of a globe.
But Marsquake sounds cool, and I would support that name too if they adopted it. Hey, in the end the idea is what really matters.

LOL no. An earthquake is named so because the proper name for soil is earth, so when the ground beneath you quakes it is an earth quake no matter what planet it is happening on.

earthquake doesnt have anything to do with planet Earth otherwise it would be Earthquake (with the capital E).
earth in earthquake refers to soil, dirt, rock, not the planet ^_^
