ya. i don't like it, esp when it's underwater, like at a lake.
if my feet are squishing thru, i'm so outta that water.
i walk around barefoot a lot tho. just not thru mud ,if i can help it. I do like the sand, tho, even if it's wet.

Well, since I go barefoot everywhere, all year round, regardless of the weather, I've walked through the mud too. But it's not among my favorite surfaces. I live in a lousy climate and while I don't really mind getting my feet wet, I do dislike getting wet overal, or wearing stuffy rain coats and carrying an umbrella constantly. We haven't quite had the flooding England has but summer has been pretty lousy. Rain and anything related to it has lost its charm a long time ago!

yes, and worse. Once I was running around in the grass where our dog was chained up with barefeet and I had something squish between my toes that wasn't mud

I was wearing my pretty sandals when I simply SANK into this patch of mud. I walked home hearing "squish, squish". :/

Well, I thought is was mud.....turns out it was dog poop.
I could tell by the taste.
