Independent movies that aren't shown in mainstream Hollywood theatres.
For example, Reservoir Dogs vs. Norbit
Independent is better than Hollywood - except for some of the major classics... like Terminator, Aliens, Star Wars, Indiana Jones, The Matrix, Lord of the Rings, Spider-Man, X-Men, Gladiator, Braveheart, Sin City, etc...
but, the best movies are independent.... such as: American History X, Memento, The Usual Suspects, The Boondock Saints, Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, Pan's Labrynth, Nine Queens, Y tu Mama Tambien, City of God, Snatch, Little Miss Sunshine, Brokeback Mountain, Capote, Amelie, Amorres Perros, Sicko, Crash etc...

sometimes its really hard to tell what's good ? Hollywood?independent??wtf? it's just mvoies..all it matters is the movie plot..and personal interest...
if it has good plot and you like it!~man,..then thats a good movie:)
