I think if anyone asked for my ID it would only be to prove that I was the owner of my credit card or that I was perhaps going a bit too fast. Unless it is a couple of co-workers who are betting on how many people are going to laugh when they ask me for my ID

I would be flattered because its not everyday a monkey gets asked for ID!!! I would start a guessing game with them by having them guess my age by the number of wrinkles around my eyes!

I'm way past the age you'd expect to be asked, and I still am. I guess I'm flattered... but I also get treated like I'm younger than I am in general which isn't always good.

I started drinking in pubs at 14 (legal age 18) and never got asked my age. I had a beard from late teens and shaved it off at age 22 and that night, got asked my age, which was the first time ever (and only time).

I was never insulted... but as I got older, I was flattered.
Then they stopped asking.
So at my age, it's more like stunned!
