well, i did it to bug the stuff out of a female friend of mine ,i did the song to titanic ,she dislikes the person that did the song in the movie .

I actually commit karaoke on them, Wynona's "No One Else on Earth," rocks a crowd. And I sing Evanescance's "Bring me to Life," while my GF does the rap.
And Scrap, Janis used to SING the Blues. I'm not sure she ever learned how to sign. Of course she sang the opposite sex's songs too. "Me and Bobby McGee," was by Kris Kristofferson.

Heck, I've performed female songs at karaoke! And did a pretty good job too! Especially "Sweet Dreams" by Annie Lennox.

Never. I'm not sure I've ever done a lip synch at all, but if singing along with the radio counted, then I have done that.
