What is/was the most boring job you ever have done, what did it involve and how long did you last at it?

As for myself, many a year ago, I got a job at a car showroom as a car cleaner, I was asked to hand wash ten cars, after I had finished they had nothing else for me to do so I had to wash them all over again.

How long did I last? One day

I worked as a temp for a while before Xmas. Some jobs were good but most were crap and all were boring. The worst was two days spent at "network rail' offices- i had to sit at a boring desk and iterally do nothinng apart from answer the phone & let people in the door- they had even blocked yahoo on the internet! Nightmare!

I am an account assistant, It is so boring. I love my job but usually there is nothing to do. We are only 7 persons in the office. Sometimes everyone stay in front of the computer and they are all doing something, but in reality everyone is on internet as i am doing it now. usually one of my colleague mail me to see whether I am buey or not and then we start chatting. Sometimes it does get busy. But this time is the worst. I have been working here for 6.5 months. I've stick to that post because there is a lot of prospect and I am studying part time as well.

Hmm. What are you gifted as? the only reason you lose interest in a activity is with the help of the fact a) you're too clever for it so that's a waste of time or b) it extremely is something you do no longer wanna do. i think of something working with human beings is stable, you will by no skill lose interest cos there is often human beings to look at etc.

I once worked in a whisky factory. One of the many boring jobs was to sit and watch all the bottles going down the production line and taking any that didn't have any corks in off the line! Mind numbing...
