At least, that's how it seems to me.
Lately, she's been feeling sorry for herself a lot because she's sick of being single, and she wants to find a guy.
I mean, that's absolutely normal, I don't have issues with that - I've tried to help her find a guy, but there's no one we know that she's interested in right now.
The only problem is when she's around me and my boyfriend. Like at the end of the school year, my boyfriend came to say good morning to me, and my friend was there. As I was talking to her, he took my hand. I didn't talk to him much because I know she hates when people don't pay attention when she's talking, all I did was hold his hand very casually.
But afterwards, when he left, she told me how I made her really uncomfortable, and she doesn't want to see me holding hands with him and stuff in front of her.
I know she wishes she was in a relationship, but it's like I can't be anywhere near him when she's around, or she gets so mad at me!
What should I do?

She approves of my boyfriend and everything, she doesn't have a problem with him... its just that she says me holding his hand in front of her makes her feel uncomfortable and weird.

Hmmm....tricky.....
You can't expect your best friend to leave just because your boyfriend shows up, but she is unreasonable to expect you to behave like a nun just because she is single.

Please try to understand her position - when you are single and your loved-up friend is all over their boyfriend/girlfriend in front of you it can be very uncomfortable not only because you feel like a gooseberry but also because it reminds you that you don't have someone. Even people who are happy being single would feel awkward - people who are lonely feel terrible. However, holding hands is not an unreasonable amount of PDA, so I think your friend is being a tad over-sensitive.

Talk to your boyfriend and explain to him that your friend feels uncomfortable around the two of you and then talk to your friend and explain that while you care about her feelings, you want to be able to show your affection to your boyfriend.

Make sure you have at least one evening a week where you have some "girls-only" time with your friend - it may stop her feeling so left out and this will make it easier for her to be around you and your boyfriend together. Also when she gets down about being single, remind her that it won't last forever and sooner or later she will find the right person too.

Tell her to get a damn life. Don't stop holding your boyfriends hand because of her. Dont feel bad that you have someone and she doesn't. Sooner or later she will have someone and realize how stupid she has been acting. It might be how she acts that keeps men away. She may be giving the vibe that she is so needy.

I don't see anything wrong with you holding your boyfriendj's hand. I think you should talk to her about this. If she was being jealous with you then you should tell her that there's nothing to be jealous about. You never know there may be something more than what you think. Besides if she's a real friend, she would understand you.Honestly

Talk to her about her insecurities. she is feeling this cause she is insecure about herself. She feels sad cause you are enjoying in front of her.

Best solution is to talk, make her understand her feelings.
