EEK!! I went out with a guy who did that constantly.
I complained about mouse poop in our garage. He explained why it had to be shrew poop instead.
I mentioned "The Clan of the Cave Bear" and he explained that the latest theories say that cromagnons and homosapiens probably never met.
I told him that I lived on the shore of Kotzebue Sound and he said he never heard of it, that I must have lived on Norton Sound. (Norton Sound is south of Kotzebue Sound.)
etc. etc. etc. (I turned him down for a third date)
