Don't get me wrong i’m a happy person. Its just a teeny weeny bit Disappointing when great things come towards you then jump out of the way when your still getting ready to grab them. And then wala no sight of them. And its like they were never there, and then you start to think maybe they were never there.

It doesn't matter though, no point going over what's done and in the past. Maybe it was meant to be, or maybe you just have to be quicker at grabbing next time.

Don’t know what answers i'm looking for really, just interested in how people respond there story or there opinion.

So please if you wish

Just like BUDDHA taught (detachment, enlightenment, etc), nothing in life is permanent. Everything passes away (good or bad)..... the lesson here is we hav to enjoy & appreciate evrything while we hav them. It's wanting what u have, not wanting what u don't have. The more u have, the more u stress.

Calista,
Grab faster sounds very good! Try that. Then when it's over, you'll have great memories of the event, and the fact that you didn't zig when you should have zagged. Go zag.

yes, it is indeed sad. I guess it make us appreciate it so much more, doesn't it?
I think the beauty and value of good things lie in the fact that the memory there off enables us to endure the bad and unhappy periods in our lives.

The one thing good times have in common with bad times, is that they both never last forever.
