Well I say nice weather, but we all know where Australia is with regards to its position to the equator in comparison to say Europe and North America.
Give it a few months say (October / November) and suddenly Gerry will discover what a wonderful child exploitation facility Australia has and will head off on a 'fact finding' mission there as well.

Knackers - Born and bred in Australia, now living in London. So yeah I'd think I'd have a fairly good idea of how Australians think ....... but thanks for your comments.

Although I am heartily sorry for this family, and I mean the whole extended family, the longer the World Tour goes seems to lessen the reason for it. That poor child has gone forever it would seem. Grieve in private Gerry and family, then go about your crusade at your own expense.

Well the McCanns had better bypass New Zealand as they really do not like them there
Source: Returned from a trip there 11 days ago!
BTW New Zealand is introducing new child legislation to fine parents $30,000 NZ I think it is is they leave their kids in a car alone even for a minute or two, so you can imagine how they are taking to the McCanns!
If he does go to Australia he'll wait until December, January or February when it is summer.. just wait and see!!

You are obviously judging the whole country and it's people by your experiences. In my view you seem mentally incorrect judging by your question and funnily your the only one I have heard say this about Australia and it's people and if Gerry does'nt come here thats his loss and our gain.

I am glad you said generally regarded as this that and the other.
I would agree it is a beautiful country and yes nice weather.
however, knowing at least six people who have been there, four of them said they were shocked at the levels of racism there.
Oh yeah, they also said sexism is rampant to.
having read some of your posts I guess compassion and a sense of fair play are not high on the qualities of your average Ozzie either, and sending a boat load of your special forces out to repel a boat load of starving women and children is not a great achievement is it.
