It must be either both or none, since there can be no journey that has no destination, unless it is a perennial journey without a beginning or end which then would amount to wandering rather than journeying. Are we just wandering? Perhaps not, but how can we be sure when no one seems to have any credible idea of what the destination is? Since we have no clue to the possible destination, I think we may as well just make the most of it by aiming to fruitfully enjoy the wandering itself, even if it is that.

Journey.

Because there never comes a time when we arrive and say, "My life is now complete. I can die now." At death, people overall are not ready. They want to continue the journey. People who take their own lives don't do it because they feel that they have done all that they wish to do in life and have arrived at their destination. They don't take it because they are content. They take it for other reasons. To avoid pain. Mental illness. They feel hopeless. Etc.

For me, it is definitely a journey. The thing is, even when I arrive at a literal destination (for instance, going on vacation somewhere), I am still on my journey. I am still making my voyage through time/space and focusing on the moment and anticipating the moments that are to come. Although I am in one general area ("Hawaii" or "California", for example), I do not arrive there and sit in a room doing nothing. The destination in and of itself is not enough.

There is always the desire to continue the journey.

Life is a destination when you wanna achieve somethink and a journey when you wanna just enjoy one's life. For me life is more than a destination or a journey. It is a possibility to do somethink for the humanity.

Thank you for your question.

I see life is like a journey from place to place. We have a perfect plan God had given to us but He give us the freedom to CHOOSE which direction we go. That is why our life is full of adventurous journey to make us strong in the long run.

Life to myself is a journey.

The more I grow on this journey, the more I seem to becoming an observer of life rather than a participant. Now I am on this strange new path, our reality appears more clearly. I must say it is rather astounding watching people exist as if on an assembly line.

I think it was Leonardo Davinci who said on his death bed. "I thought life was learning how to live, but now I realise it was learning how to die" Not verbatim, from memory. I would agree but with the proviso that dying is really living. Another journey of discovery.

A singular journey, destination unknown

Definitely a journey; if you can't enjoy life on a daily basis, instead of being constantly focused on some goal - no matter how realistic or achievable - you miss a lot. Constantly living in the future is pointless.

This is an either/or type question and therefore I don't think it is asked in the proper way. Why not see life in both ways? Or, maybe we see it in one way as opposed to the other, depending on the mood we are in. What makes life interesting is that we have the ability to ask such questions but the way one asks a question often determines how someone answers it.
