German "Köln" == French "Cologne" The British speak better French than German because Harold has lost the battle of Hastings and William has lived too long in Normandy and forgot his germanic (not german!!!) origin. Therfore the British also say Cologne. The Americans --- there were a very view to view german immigrants --- then the Americans would say "Köln" now they say Cologne. Hi, the Pascha (see link above) is a good location (nicghtclub) or you could also go to an area called "Achener Weiher" it's a bit in the suburban arrea of cologne.
