Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman acted in it. You know that seen where he wears a mask in that mantion and he walks in to the big room with all those people starring at him and the man in the red asks him to take off his mask. How would you get out of that situtation ? I was reflecting on that today after seeing the movie for the first time and I just came up with; " Who wants to pitch in for some pizzas and Chinese take out ? "

Ms. bottleblondemama; You're just like the friend of mine who talks like that. He's so obsessed with these "secret societies" he rented that movie and asked me to watch it. So that I would know what's going on around me in the upper levels of society. He believes that these things really go on.

Pizza and Chinese take-out would not have worked on that crowd; it was pretty much cult-like and cut-throat exclusive"secret society" for very wealthy men.
The hooker that Cruise's charactor saved from a drug overdose earlier in the movie took the "punishment" for his character's transgression, which was death (made to look like a drug overdose) after being used sexually.

There are other Kubrick movies that I didn't care for at the first showing. But the plot simply doesn't make any sense! I've got to see it again to see if I missed something. I hope that I did. Tell us why you thought it was so good.
