What a great question!
I'll never watch Titanic again. That movie sucked from start to finish. I've only seen it once and that was too much.
I will also not watch Forrest Gump. It rambles at best...it's just a big crappy montage that tries to cover waaaaay too many decades.
I actually have A Beautiful Mind on DVD and I've tried to watch it a few times. I fall asleep each time and find that my point of sleep comes earlier and earlier.

Getting mad at a work of art seems a tad childish--beside, there is a perfectly good reason not to see Oscar winners again: the majority of them suck, including your puppy maiming pic mentioned above.
Best Pictures that lick taint:
Titanic
The Last Emperor
Crash (a very mediocre film that didn't exactly lick taint, but still...)
The English Patient (though I've never seen it, I can just smell the echh on this one)
Schindler's List (and screw you to anyone who thinks its antisemitic not to like this movie--Spielberg felt the need to melodramatize the most dramatic event in world history, which is distasteful in and of it self). Oh, and outside of the first 20 minutes, Saving Private Ryan sucked, too for the same reason.

American Beauty
this movie was so bad i cant understand how it got 5 oscars over a movie like Green Mile which was a work of art.
American Beauty had no Story line, bad cast, no plot.
but yet somehow it was given the top Oscars.
must have been monkeys voting that year.

Sorry, I know some of you might think I'm wrong and think it's a wonderful artistic movie, but too me it was 2 hours out of my life I'll never get back....like "Vanilla Sky"....let's not get started on that!

brokeback mountain....... they trick you with the pretty mountain and sheep for the first thirty minutes...they wait just long enough for u not to be able to get u're money bk!
